For this project, I learned that in order to lay the vinyl properly when you have more than one color, it is REALLY useful to start with the bottom layer and attach that layer to the object the vinyl will be laying on before applying any of the other layers. I also learned that in order to make an outline of something, making the stroke size larger does not result in the vinyl cutting around the (now larger) lines. Instead, one must make two smaller lines around the intended "outline" so that the vinyl cuts around the design rather than cutting the design itself.
